I am currently taking an English class called Queer Saints and Sinners: Religion and Sexuality in the Modernist. You see the word “queer” in the title, so you probably, like me, think that the class sounds very interesting.
It was at first. I’ve since been disillusioned.
The more appropriate title for the class should be: Leisurely Affluent White British Men and the Literature they Wrote About Catholicism with Implicit Homosexual Undertones. Some of the books have been great, (*cough* Hindoo Holiday, Brideshead Revisited *cough*) the remaining have been…well…see the aforementioned title.
